I am delighted to share an essay by Protorpesbyter Grigorii Lomako (d. 1959), an alumnus of St. Peterburg Theological Academy, who left a valuable eye-witness account about the foundation of the Russian Church Abroad. This essay complements a multi-party conversation (1948-1950) about the best form of administrative organization in diaspora featured in the Canon Law section of this website.
